How Do Profhilo® Injections Work?

 

Profhilo® injections are a new anti-ageing approach used to remodel and improve skin laxity of the face, neck, hands, and arms. With high concentrations of hyaluronic acid, Profhilo® injections improve skin elasticity and hydration, delivering long-lasting results.

Profhilo® is made using a mixture of 32mg HA (with high molecular weight) and 32mg HA (with low molecular weight). The simple mix undergoes a thermal stabilisation process where it is heated and cooled according to IBSA’s patented thermal production process or NAHYCO Hybrid Technology. What you get is Profhilo® – stabilised hybrid cooperative complexes that support, promote, and maintain the viability of Fibroblasts, Keratinocytes, and Adipocytes.

Profhilo® injections are administered in two sessions in the superficial subcutaneous layer. It is a non-invasive treatment with a specially developed injection technique that reduces pain, downtime, and the number of treatment sessions. Results are visible after only two treatments at one-month intervals.

PROFHILO® is a Class III medical device containing 16mg high molecular weight (MW)
hyaluronic acid (HA) + 16mg low MW HA/1mL syringe that is obtained through a patented treatment (NAHYCO Hybrid Technology) which provides it with unique characteristics for its use in the face and body, where it is injected with an ultrafine needle to plump the skin to smooth away wrinkles and improve texture and skin quality. PROFHILO must only be administered by a trained healthcare professional. Treatment costs and normal doctor’s fees
