It is an anti-ageing therapy that improves skin quality by replenishing and maintaining natural hydration levels by injecting hyaluronic acid(HA) directly into the dermis layer of the skin. HA is found naturally in the body, where its main role is to attract water and provide hydration to the skin. When skinbooster is injected, it stimulates fibroblasts in the body. The stimulated expanded fibroblasts not only proliferate new collagen fibres but also inhibit the breakdown of collagen fibres. Therefore, even if Restylane is absorbed into the body after a certain period of time, it can naturally delay ageing by maintaining young cells in the body through the action of these collagen fibres.

Will I see results immediately?
When it comes to your Restylane Skinboosters treatment, results are progressive: this means that changes in skin condition are subtle and natural-looking. While you are likely to see some benefits immediately, the full effect of the treatment may take up to 4 weeks.
How long will the effects of a Restylane Skinbosters treatment last?
Restylane Skinboosters are usually initially given across 3 treatment sessions, 3-4 weeks apart. The effects may last for up to 6–12 months. Regular maintenance sessions (approximately every 6 months) are generally recommended to ensure lasting results.
What are the side effects of Restylane Skinboosters?
You may initially experience some redness, swelling, pain or minor bruising around the treated area. This is temporary and should gradually subside over the next few days, although in some cases may last for up to two weeks. If these become troublesome or persistent, contact your Cosmetic Practitioner.
